Reports to: Delivery Manager
Type: Full-Time

Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 / hourย 
Small Batch Delivery is seeking a friendly and helpful delivery driver to work with a small team to bring white glove packaged food delivery to the finest retailers in New York City.
Summary

  • Provide excellent customer service and build customer loyalty by delivering products in a timely, cordial manner.
  • Ensure orders are delivered accurately and in good condition.
  • Communicate any issues or delays and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Represent the White Moustache with excellence and professionalism by driving safely, exercising good judgment, and treating customers with respect.

Requirements:

  • A valid driverโ€™s license, with at least 3 years of driving experience; experience, driving commercial vans preferred.
  • Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications such as Waze or Google Maps.
  • Able to read, understand and apply information relating to trip planning for delivery.
  • Able to properly load, unload, and secure products, including all related duties.
  • Capable of driving extended periods of time, up to the maximum allowable times, safely, under a variety of conditions, including night driving, and spending up to 80% of on duty time in the vehicle for an extended period.
  • Must have delivery experience in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Familiarity with the local area, including streets, highways, and buildings.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Previous experience with a 16โ€™ box truck is required.
  • Experience with refrigerated trucks preferred. Ability to operate liftgate and reefer.
