Protecto Wrap Company has been manufacturing waterproofing membranes since 1952 and has built a sound reputation for producing some of the highest quality waterproofing systems available. Our products meet or exceed the design requirements and specifications for a variety of applications. Protecto Wrap offers design consultation and field technical support for all product lines, which include: residential weather barriers, flooring underlayments and commercial building envelope solutions.
Starting pay $12.25 - 12.75 depending on experience. Early morning shift receives an additional dollar an hour.
Job Description
We are currently seeing an Industrial Mixer for our Mixing Division. Industrial Mixers produce asphalt/butyl based solutions used to manufacture Protecto Wrap Premium Building Products. This position is one of a two person team working early mornings 1:30 am - 11:30 with paid lunch. Uniforms provided, group benefits available.
DUTIES
The Industrial Mixer:
  • Assures asphalt/butyl solution quality and personal safety by following standard operating procedures
  • Performs product line audits
  • Selects ingredients based on pre-determined formulas
  • Verifies accuracy of numerical calculations for processing
  • Records inventory of raw materials utilized accurately and timely
  • Learns and performs all duties associated with "Opening" and "Closing"
  • Is dependable and has excellent attendance

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
  • High school diploma with some college courses in Math and or Science preferred.
  • 1+ year previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Industrial Mixing experience is highly desirable however we will train the right person.

Physical qualifications:
The Industrial Mixer is required to
  • Work at elevated heights up to 30 feet above ground
  • Climb, reach, grasp, handle, stand, and walk frequently
  • Lift up to 60 pounds frequently
  • Speak and hear person to person or via two way radio
  • Read, write, and speak English

Environmental Conditions:
Industrial Mixers work constantly outside and are exposed to all types of weather conditions year round both night and day.
