Job description

Compensation range: $18.00-$25.00, based on experience.
Eligible for piece-rate pay after 3 months.
Are you ready to kick off the new year with a fresh career? Builders Installed Products of VT is seeking dedicated Technicians, both experienced and new, to join our expanding Insulation Division located in Westmoreland, NH!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Be able to work in an environment that is always changing
  • Must be willing to be trained in multiple applications of installations
  • Loading and logging materials onto a truck
  • Drill and fills from interior or exterior
  • Hanging insulweb fabric for Thermal Walls
  • Loading blown-in machines
  • Erecting ladders and scaffolds
  • Check density in wall areas
  • Install fiberglass, mineral wool and timber batts
  • Install air sealing products like caulking and can foam
  • Spraying/Troweling/ rolling waterproofing products onto different substrates

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Lift Certification for Boom Lifts (Not Required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with exterior/interior painting
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Work in tight places or in high places
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Climb ladders and scaffolding
  • Frequently bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, and knees
  • Westmoreland NH: Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Physical Demands:
This role involves installing various insulation products, performing drill-and-fill applications, applying waterproofing materials, checking insulation density, and working from ladders or scaffolding in both interior and exterior environments. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, and working in confined or elevated spaces, along with lifting up to 50 pounds and using hand tools that require manual dexterity. Work occurs in changing indoor and outdoor conditions with exposure to temperature variations, dust, noise, and insulation materials, with required use of PPE. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform these essential job functions.
