How much do masonry restoration jobs pay per hour?

As of Jun 12, 2026, the average hourly pay for masonry restoration in the United States is $26.86, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $23.32 and $29.81 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What jobs make $10,000 a month without a degree?

In masonry restoration, experienced specialists or project managers can earn around $10,000 per month through high-level expertise, certifications, and managing large or complex projects. Skilled tradespeople with extensive experience and a strong reputation may also reach this income level, especially if working independently or on high-value projects. However, such earnings typically require years of experience, specialized skills, and often self-employment or supervisory roles.

What jobs pay 2000 a day?

Masonry restoration jobs typically do not pay $2000 a day; high daily earnings in construction-related fields usually require specialized skills, extensive experience, or working as a contractor on large projects. Some highly skilled trades, such as master masons or specialized restoration contractors, can earn high daily rates, especially when working on complex or historic building restorations. However, earning $2000 daily is uncommon and often associated with freelance or contract work rather than standard employment in masonry restoration.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Masonry Restoration position, and why are they important?

To thrive in Masonry Restoration, you need expertise in bricklaying, stonework, mortar mixing, and structural assessment, often backed by prior construction or masonry experience. Familiarity with restoration tools such as tuckpointing tools, grinders, scaffolding, and certification in safety protocols (like OSHA) are important for efficiency and compliance. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication are valuable soft skills in coordinating with clients and team members. These abilities ensure historical accuracy, structural integrity, and safe, quality workmanship on every restoration project.

What jobs pay 500,000 a year in the US?

Masonry restoration is typically not a high-paying job reaching $500,000 annually; such earnings are usually associated with top executives, specialized surgeons, or successful entrepreneurs. High salaries in construction-related fields are often achieved through business ownership, project management, or highly specialized skills combined with experience. Most masonry restoration professionals earn significantly less, with top-tier specialists or business owners potentially reaching higher income levels through scaling their operations.

What type of masonry makes the most money?

In masonry restoration, specialized skills such as historic masonry, limestone, or marble restoration tend to command higher wages due to their complexity and demand. Master masons with certifications and extensive experience in high-end or restoration projects typically earn the highest salaries in the field.

What is a Masonry Restoration job?

Masonry restoration involves repairing, cleaning, and preserving brick, stone, or concrete structures to restore their original integrity and appearance. This process may include tuckpointing, replacing damaged bricks, sealing surfaces, and applying protective coatings. Restoration ensures the structural stability and longevity of historical and modern masonry buildings while preventing further deterioration caused by weather, moisture, and time.

What are the typical challenges faced in a Masonry Restoration role, and how can I prepare for them?

One of the main challenges in Masonry Restoration involves working with aging or damaged structures, which often requires problem-solving and precise techniques to match original materials and workmanship. Weather conditions and working at heights or on scaffolding can also present unique difficulties, requiring strict adherence to safety practices. You may encounter tight deadlines or projects that require coordination with architects, engineers, or preservation specialists. Being adaptable, maintaining a strong safety mindset, and continuing professional development through training will prepare you to handle these challenges successfully and build a rewarding career in the field.
