Job description

A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Waterproofing Consultant to help them expand their service offerings in roofing and wall design engineering, as well as construction defect litigation support solutions at their Irvine, CA office.

Your Day Includes:

  • Providing technical expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems for design, investigation, testing, and oversight of technical work

  • Performing field investigations and diagnostic testing for building envelope and moisture intrusion issues, preparing detailed reports, and managing construction administration activities

  • Managing repair and re-construction projects for apartments, condominiums, commercial and government buildings

  • Supporting litigation efforts through mediation, deposition, arbitration and trial with a focus on plaintiff support, while leveraging your network of local attorneys and insurance adjusters to help grow the firm's service offerings

Must Haves:

  • Technical degree (Bachelor's or higher) in engineering, architecture, construction management or a closely related discipline

  • Expertise in roofing, waterproofing and building envelope systems, including experience with envelope leak investigations, field testing, reporting, and construction administration (PE or RA license preferred)

  • Experience in repair and re-construction, design and project management of apartments, condominiums, and commercial and government buildings
