We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Waterproofing Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the construction process by providing accurate cost estimates for various projects. This position requires a strong understanding of waterproofing management and the ability to analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, foremen, and clients to ensure that all aspects of the project are accounted for. This is a commission-based pay position with unlimited earning potential. We are a growing family-owned waterproofing business
Duties
  • Analyze specifications and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for waterproofing projects.
  • Utilize QuickBooks and Arcsite software to create detailed bids and proposals.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to develop budgets and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary data for estimating purposes.
  • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to each project.
  • Provide support for cost-control measures during the construction phase to ensure budget adherence.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding the estimate details and any changes that may arise.
