How much do waterproofing consulting jobs pay per year?
What is the difference between Waterproofing Consulting vs Waterproofing Technician?
| Aspect | Waterproofing Consulting | Waterproofing Technician |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Certifications in waterproofing systems, engineering or construction management | Trade certifications, on-the-job training |
| Work Environment | Office-based, site inspections, project planning | On-site application, installation, repairs |
| Employer & Industry | Engineering firms, construction companies, consulting agencies | Construction contractors, waterproofing companies |
Waterproofing Consulting professionals focus on project planning, design, and advising clients on waterproofing solutions, often working in offices and inspecting sites. Waterproofing Technicians execute the installation and repair of waterproofing systems on-site. Both roles require specific certifications, but Consulting roles emphasize planning and oversight, while Technicians focus on hands-on application.

- Assisting in the preparation of concise, technically sound reports documenting observations, testing procedures, findings, and recommendations.
- Coordinating with internal project teams, clients, contractors, and design professionals throughout various phases of projects.
- Occasional overnight travel, both in-state and out-of-state, may be required.
