Dalworth Restoration is a busy full-service Disaster Restoration Company looking for an experienced Water Mitigation Technician to join our Euless, TX team.

We specialize in restoring residential and commercial properties after emergency situations caused by water damage, flood damage, mold damage, fire/smoke damage, and biohazard/trauma events.

Position Summary / Purpose:

Our Mitigation teams are the frontline first responders to our customersโ€™ disasters. Assist customers quickly, efficiently, and professionally to mitigate the damage from worsening in their home or business through the timely and effective delivery of emergency mitigation services. Provide operations support to project superintendents and team leaders through the timely and accurate creation of all project estimates including Xactimate estimates and self-pay contracts.

Job Duties:

  • Effectively perform all the mitigation services the company offers.
  • Water extraction
  • Equipment set up and take down.
  • Containment
  • Contaminated material removal includes flooring, cabinets, drywall, etc.
  • Complete drying of the structure
  • Cleaning
  • Complete necessary documentation, daily logs, work orders, etc.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure company's quality standards.
  • Load vehicles with necessary equipment and supplies for the day's work.
  • Maintain basic cleanliness of company vehicles used each day.
  • Clear, professional, and timely communication with customers, team members, and managers
  • Participation in all required training assigned by Training Director
  • All other tasks as assigned by the Crew Leader, Superintendent, or Manager

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year experience in water mitigation, mold remediation and fire/smoke cleanings
  • 1+ year experience in carpentry
  • Availability to work a rotating on-call schedule
  • Available for regular overtime
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to lift 50 LBS
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
  • IICRC Certifications are required

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Driverโ€™s License and pass MVR check
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen
  • Wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) and a respirator when required by job.

Physical Demands / Working Conditions

  • Required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, sometimes in tight spaces.
  • Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move 75 lbs.
  • Work is predominantly performed at a customer's property where you may encounter standing water, sewage, fire damage, smoke, mold, or other organic growth (PPE is provided).

Compensation

$19.00- $20.00 DOE plus overtime and on-call bonus
