Water Mitigation Technician

Location: Springfield / Ozark, MO

Full-Time | Emergency Response | Year-Round Work

We are a growing company hiring motivated Water Mitigation Technicians to support water damage cleanup, mitigation, and restoration services for residential and commercial properties throughout the Springfield and Ozark markets. This is more than basic cleanup. You will assist with water extraction, moisture mitigation, property stabilization, equipment setup, documentation, customer communication, and restoration support while learning the full water mitigation process. This role offers strong advancement opportunities into higher-level restoration, estimating, and project management positions.

What You'll Do

Respond to residential and commercial water damage events by assisting with water extraction, structural drying, moisture monitoring, equipment transport, demolition, sanitation, and property cleanup. Operate drying equipment, dehumidifiers, air movers, and restoration tools while maintaining accurate job documentation and ensuring customer properties are restored safely and professionally. Drive company vehicles, including box trucks, transport equipment, and support emergency response efforts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving history
  • Ability to drive box trucks and transport equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds • Comfortable working in physically demanding environments
  • Strong work ethic and professional customer service skills
  • Ability to work with cleaning chemicals, restoration products, and safety equipment
  • Restoration or mitigation experience preferred but not required
  • HAZWOPER or industry certifications preferred but not required
  • Willingness to travel locally when needed
