THIS IS 3RD WEEKEND. MUST SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND ENGLISH FLUENTLY FOR SAFETY AND TRAINING REQUIRMENT

We’re looking for a dependable Water Blaster to support industrial cleaning operations within MPW Field Services. This role is responsible for performing high-pressure water blasting and facility cleaning tasks in manufacturing environments while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform high-pressure water blasting and industrial cleaning tasks as directed by supervision
  • Clean floors, equipment surfaces, and hard-to-reach areas within manufacturing facilities
  • Remove residue buildup from underneath machinery and production equipment
  • Clean and maintain paint booths, ovens, and surrounding work areas to required standards
  • Cover designated areas with protective materials to improve cleaning efficiency and containment
  • Clean paint grates using caustic solutions and/or water blasting processes
  • Clean and maintain robotic equipment and related components used in production environments
  • Set up, inspect, and operate water blasting equipment, including hoses, nozzles, and guns
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on water blasting equipment as scheduled or needed
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces, including job sites and break areas
  • Assist in training new employees and transferred team members on job tasks and safety procedures
  • Complete assigned work within established timeframes while meeting or exceeding quality standards
  • Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or operational problems to supervisors immediately
  • Follow all OSHA guidelines and MPW safety policies at all times

 

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some high school education accepted
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial cleaning, or similar environments preferred
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and equipment operation
  • Ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and work under supervision
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and perform continuous physical labor
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces for extended 8–12 hour shifts
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators, and work in environments with chemicals, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures
  • Ability to travel to job sites for extended periods and work overtime, weekends, or varying schedules as needed
