Description
The Surveillance Agent contributes to an environment of collaboration in which Surveillance supports partner departments within NRSI, providing outstanding service to all guests. Providing both customers and employees with a fair, safe and secure gaming experience by creating accountability to company policies and procedures, as well as appropriate laws and regulations, is the Surveillance Department's number one priority.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
  • At least 21 years of age;
  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred;
  • At least one year of prior experience in Gaming Security/Surveillance preferred;
  • Nice, friendly, and willing to work attitude;
  • Possess excellent critical thinking and communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and to organize, prioritize tasks and assignments;
  • Demonstrate approachability, appropriate decision-making skills, integrity and trustworthiness;
  • Working knowledge of Gaming and Surveillance standards;
  • Ability to work flexible hours and varying shifts as business needs dictate;
  • Ability to sit and operate computer and video monitoring equipment for long periods of time;
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended amounts of time.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Access control system;
  • Com operations;
  • Basic computer operations - Word, Excel, Etc., archiving video;
  • Basic drop procedures - Resort, basic drop procedures - Tavern;
  • Basic gas station operations, basic hotel operations, basic resort operations, basic tavern operations;
  • Basic investigation, bolo's, detention of person, minor on property, robbery/ panic button response;
  • Close watch reviews;
  • Customer service;
  • Employee injuries & slip and falls, patron injuries & slip and falls, First-Aid - CPR, AED;
  • Gaming Control (GCB) Agent requests, request for assistance - outside agency;
  • Itrak;
  • New Incident Notification Management;
  • On shift procedures; proactive monitoring of surveillance cameras, safety & inspections;
  • Operation of Surveillance Indigo, Intellex, Samsung 2011, Wave Server;
  • Property damage, written reports;
  • SolarWinds - responding to tickets, ticket transfers to other departments;
  • Surveillance reviews - external investigations, surveillance reviews - internal;
  • Title 31 - Basic understanding;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
