Summary

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing the daily warehouse tasks of a specialty silicone chemical company.ย 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Complete all warehouse jobs in a safe, efficient, and proper manner. Able to operate the warehouse independently.ย 

Follow all work instructions and SOP's explicitly, sign off on each instruction.

Load/Unload trucks with a fork truck.

Pull, prepare, and stage material for shipping and/or storage to include proper labeling.

Serve as dock captain for outgoing shipments.

Troubleshoot process problems.

Comply with all company occupational health, safety and environmental legal requirements.ย 

Use personal protective equipment as assigned.

Report all unsafe conditions, work related injury or illness to a member of leadership.

Safely handle and prepare materials for transport as assigned per regulatory requirements.

Safely handle hazardous chemicals and waste according to company and legal requirements as assigned.

Make recommendations for changes/improvements to ISO-9001 and 45001 integrated management systems.

Step in for Senior Warehouseman when needed.

Maintain good communication within the warehouse team and other departments as necessary.

Additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Work Experience: 4 months + of warehouse experience, preferably in a chemical warehouse.

Training Requirements: Fork Truck License
