Warehouse Trainer - Job Description
Job Summary
The Warehouse Trainer plays a critical role in onboarding, educating, and developing warehouse personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. This position is responsible for delivering hands-on training, reinforcing operational standards, and supporting continuous improvement.
Shift Hours
  • Day Shift Available
  • Mon - Thurs 7:00am to 6:30pm / Friday 8:30am to 11:00pm

Training Responsibilities
  • Conducts onboarding and orientation for new warehouse employees.
  • Delivers structured training on equipment use, safety protocols, and warehouse procedures.
  • Supports cross-training initiatives to build team versatility and operational resilience.
  • Assists in evaluating trainee performance and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to identify training needs and skill gaps.

Operational Duties
  • Ensures training materials and equipment are available and functional.
  • This leads to safety demonstrations and daily equipment checks (e.g., forklifts, tuggers, trailers).
  • Verifies trainees' understanding of quality standards and delivery protocols.
  • Maintains accurate training records and documentation.
  • Communicates updates on policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and share feedback from trainees.
  • Supports conflict resolution by reinforcing communication and teamwork principles.
  • May assist with equipment requests and operational audits.

Required Skills & Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to motivate and engage learners across experience levels.

  • Ability to lift 25-30 pounds as needed.
