About The Opportunity

The Floor Lead (aka Sr. Lead) will have responsibility to ensure an acceptable finished product for our customer.

Essential Job Functions

The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Back up to Production Supervisor
  • Work in conjunction with the Quality Department for positive production results
  • Inspection of the production lines as needed if the job is complex or critical in its design or use
  • Knowledge of the rates of the jobs running on the production line
  • Responsible for work packets being filled out both correctly and accurately
  • Perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job
  • Responsible for training production staff
  • Assist Line Leads in training Line Workers
  • Maintain a safe work environment

Education & Experience

  • Education Desired - High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience or training in warehouse production

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to lead / supervise large groups of associates
  • Understand quality standards, methods and reporting as required
  • Good communicator, team player and multi-tasking skills
  • Plan in advance for production in your area
  • Interpret instructions both oral and written
  • Produce at a high level through your staff
  • Work with plant management for required results
  • Process information and merchandise through computer system

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting
  • Walking, standing, bending for duration of shift
  • Frequent lifting of 25 lbs or more

The expected salary range for this position is $47,840 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short and Long term disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays.
