Job Description
BME Fire Trucks is seeking an experienced Picker to be part of our Warehouse Team. We are a locally owned Fire Truck manufacturer in Boise, Idaho. BME manufactures wildland fire apparatus used in the US and Canada for wildland fire suppression. Be a part of something that makes a difference in saving lives, homes, and our amazing recreational areas. As a Warehouse Picker, you will be delivering parts to the production floor, so candidates should have exceptional organization, problem-solving skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills. As a Picker you will be responsible for:
  • Manage inventory transfers and deliver parts to the production floor.
  • Assist with organizational tasks and RMAs.
  • Operate sit down and standup forklifts
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts

Requirements
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Lift, bend, push/pull, climb stairs and stay on feet for the duration of a shift.
  • Work a minimum of 45 hours per week (M-F).
  • Forklift experience
  • Can-do attitude and ability to adapt to changing demands.
  • Ability to follow through on tasks and projects ATC (accurately, timely and completely).
  • Proficient computer skills
