Job Title: Warehouse SupervisorJob Description

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees a broad range of warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving of raw materials and finished goods, inventory control, and maintenance of associated records. This role assigns daily work to Warehouse Technicians, monitors team performance, and ensures efficient operations across receiving, order picking, packing, and shipping. The Warehouse Supervisor also leads process improvement initiatives, promotes a strong culture of safety and quality, and supports employee development within the department.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily warehouse and production area operations, including packing stations where required, to ensure efficient and accurate order processing.
  • Coordinate end-to-end order processing activities, including receiving, order picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring orders are processed correctly and on time.
  • Manage the handover of daily operational issues and priorities to other shifts to maintain continuity of warehouse activities.
  • Create and manage planning and work schedules for warehouse staff within established guidelines, ensuring appropriate coverage for all operational needs.
  • Develop and issue clear work instructions to warehouse employees and monitor execution to maintain consistent performance and adherence to procedures.
  • Manage inventory and replenishment of warehouse supplies, spare parts, and other materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and accurate inventory records.
  • Lead, supervise, and support Warehouse department employees, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to drive performance and engagement.
  • Motivate and encourage employees to innovate, expand their logistics knowledge, and maintain strong quality awareness in daily tasks.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new warehouse operators, participating in candidate evaluation and selection processes.
  • Discuss salary, promotions, and terminations with the Warehouse Manager, providing input based on performance and department needs.
  • Ensure strict adherence to service standards, quality requirements, and agreed terms and conditions in all warehouse operations.
  • Supervise quality, safety, security, work conditions, and housekeeping activities within the department to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
  • Oversee the responsible and safe use of materials, warehouse equipment, and machinery, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize warehouse processes and initiate improvement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Execute special tasks and projects within established guidelines as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Materials Manager.
  • Collaborate with other employees and departments on special projects and cross-functional initiatives when requested.
Essential Skills
  • Demonstrated experience in logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
  • Proven supervision and warehouse management experience, including leading and directing warehouse staff.
