Job description

Warehouse Operations Assistant

Assist in warehouse operations and other areas as assigned by department supervisors. 1st and 2nd shifts available.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

  • Unload containers
  • Count inventory on production lines
  • Return inventory from production lines
  • Sort and breakdown of cartons
  • Separate warehouse pallets
  • Warehouse cleaning duties
  • May require to operate bailer, trash compactor and stretch wrap machine
  • Will assist in other warehouse departments as assigned

Administrative and other responsibilities:

  • Must adhere to all company policies and safety procedures
  • MUST NOT drive Material Handling Equipment if not certified by Houdini Inc.

Typical physical demands:

  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Will require to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Repetitive movement such as bending, twisting, and lifting

Typical working conditions:

  • Fast paced warehouse and production facility with variable temperatures due to refrigeration and climate

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Ability to read and write
  • Basic math skills and ability to use calculator

Education:

  • Some reading and writing
  • Math skills a plus

Experience:

  • 1-12 months of warehouse experience
