Warehouse ManagerPosition Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations for our growing retail brand. This role is responsible for managing inventory, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse staff while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leading daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders for retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement warehouse processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and order accuracy.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse team members while promoting a positive and accountable work environment.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Oversee warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance and safe operation.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, shipping performance, and labor productivity.
  • Assist with planning and execution of seasonal inventory fluctuations, promotions, and product launches.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support implementation and utilization of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and related technologies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience, preferably within retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce environments.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, shipping, receiving, and fulfillment processes.
  • Experience managing warehouse staff and coordinating daily operations.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
