Description
This position is responsible for the operations and maintenance of his/her assigned shift in a designated building. The warehouse manager will not only be tasked with planning and execution of the day-to-day operations of his/her own shift but will also work collaboratively with fellow members of the warehouse management team to ensure that goals are being met while maintaining all safety and quality standards. The Warehouse Manager will additionally maintain open lines of communication with the operations supervisors and customer service team to ensure that customers' product is being received and shipped in a timely manner ensuring that all orders are fulfilled.
  • Collaborate with senior management to plan and oversee the daily operations plan of assigned shift to include inbound receiving, order picking, and outbound shipping to meet customer commitments.
  • Forecast and plan labor requirements designed to successfully meet operational needs.
  • Responsible for collecting attendance reports from supervisors and submitting to HR.
  • Responsible for end of shift reporting.
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy and customer order reports.
  • Lead a team of supervisors, and up to 30 warehouse associates.
  • Coach, teach, and mentor supervisors to effectively lead employees while meeting or exceeding operational goals.
  • Oversee all safety training as well as new hire orientation training for those assigned to his/her team.
  • Responsible for managing the safety program, to include weekly safety meetings, training, accident reporting/investigations and associated remediation.
  • Responsible for ensuring a safe, clean work environment for all.

Position Requirements
โ€ข An Associate's degree is required.
โ€ข A minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations experience with a demonstrated track record of coaching, leading, and developing talent.
โ€ข Proven knowledge of WMS is required
โ€ข Proven knowledge of warehouse and yard operations.
โ€ข Forklift/PIT certification is required
โ€ข Ability to train team members on PIT and adhere to all OSHA and safety requirements is necessary.
โ€ข Experience with large and complex customer accounts is required.
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are required.
โ€ข Experience working in an SQF environment is preferred.
โ€ข Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook is required.
โ€ข Spanish/Portuguese language proficiency is helpful, but not required.
