Job description

Overview

CORT Events provides furniture rental solutions to trade shows and events including festivals, weddings, corporate events, or even the Superbowl! The Warehouse Manager works collaboratively as a part of our operations team; overseeing warehouse personnel and ensuring that our product meets quality standards and arrives where it needs to. The Warehouse Manager also oversees deliveries at event and trade show venues and drives trucks as needed.

Pay: $75,000-80,000 / year depending on experience

Schedule: Schedule will vary based on the needs of the business, weekends are required


Responsibilities

  • Oversees warehouse and inventory organization
  • Leads the staging and loading of trucks
  • Manages the flow of inventory between facilities within the organization
  • Leads inventory cycle counting efforts
  • Leads efforts pertaining to cleaning, repairing, or preparing furniture
  • Supervises warehouse and temporary personnel
  • Maintains and monitors safety activities to ensure compliance with company and state regulations, DOT requirements, and safety/health standards
  • Regularly moves trucks from dock to dock on the premises, and assists with deliveries offsite as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or event operations experience required
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Shipping & receiving, inventory management, and/or fleet management experience preferred
• Prior experience in the trade show, event or hospitality industry preferred
