Volt is immediately hiring for an Inventory Analyst in San Diego, CA.

As an Inventory Analyst, you will:

  • Maintain a high level of inventory across organization
  • Oversee cycle counting activities, support MRB operations
  • Analyze and investigate  inventory discrepancies
  • Generate reports to drive data informed decisions
  • Ensure inventory integrity
  • Plan and schedule cycle count programs
  • Analyze inventory trends and reoccurring issues
  • Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to resolve variances
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to improve count
  • Coordinate MRB processes by tracking, reporting and dispositioning non-conforming materials
  • Coordinate with Global Supply Chain, Engineering and Production teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Drive reduction of obsolete, excess and rejected materials
  • Identify areas to enhance inventory processes and systems
  • Participate in Lean / continuous improvement initiatives

This is a full-time opportunity in the San Diego office.

ScheduleMonday to Friday from 7am – 3:30pm plus overtime as needed. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • 2 – 5 years of inventory control, materials management or supply chain
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, v look ups, etc)
  • Baan 5C Erp preferred
  • Superior communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.

Payrate: $29.00 Per Hour
