Pathmark Transportation is looking for a skilled and dedicated Assistant Facility Manager.

An Assistant facility manager supports the daily operations of a transportation facility, ensuring the efficient movement of retail delivers and other freight. The role works closely with the facility manager to oversee staff, coordinate schedules, Maintain regulatory compliance and ensure the facility operates safety and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing Daily Facility operations and transportation acclivities.
  • Supervise, Train, and Motivate drivers, Warehouse Personnel and Facility Staff.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules, and ensure adequate driver and equipment availability.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationship with customers, vendors and business partners.
  • Support employee performance though coaching, recognition, corrective action when necessary.
  • Participate in strategist planing and improvement  initiatives
  • Provide operational support and performing other duties as assigned by the facility manager.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain management, logistics transportation, or a related field.
  • Experience with Dock, warehouse and transportation management
  • 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics or warehouse industry
  • TMS Web base knowledge
  • Microsoft,  Excel skill
