Description:

A Warehouse Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by efficiently managing the flow of goods in and out, with both physical and systematical transactions. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments using existing warehouse management processes and systems.
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
  • Palletizing, crate building, labelling, scheduling and timing shipments.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of all items to prevent damage.
  • Assist in maximum space utilization and efficiency in the warehouse.
  • Ensure all products are stored in a logical, organized and easily accessible manner.
  • Utilize systems for inventory management and tracking shipments.
  • Freight carrier interaction
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping and receiving processes and improve efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate processes and procedures to identify ways for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Foster a team-oriented, organized, and safety-focused environment.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned and/or any other tasks as assigned by Leadership.
Requirements:
  • Experience with loading and unloading freight efficiently.
  • Familiarity with order fulfillment processes.
