Warehouse Forklift Operator

Warehouse Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Obtain copy of production schedule or shipping order and transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
  • Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines per the production schedule
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles
  • Move goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility
  • Stack goods in the correct storage bays, follow inventory control instructions
  • Check loads are secure
  • Stack empty pallets
  • Perform daily equipment checks on the forklifts, per OSHA guidelines
  • Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines
  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
  • Dump materials into machine hoppers

Warehouse Forklift Operator Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good math, language, and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
  • Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
  • Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
