Job description

2nd Shift Warehouse Operator


Hours: 2:30pm-10:30pm

Pay: $19-$20/hour


Job Description:

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Verify part number, order number, and quantity on picking documents.
  • Operator is responsible for locating, stocking, and consolidating materials in 
  • proper warehouse locations in an accurate, organized, and safe manner.
  • Preparing documentation for receiving and movements of material to insure 
  • accurate and timely maintenance of perpetual inventory and open order computer 
  • files.
  • Performing computer transactions to update perpetual and open order computer 
  • files as required.
  • Complete work output at required levels to approved standards.
  • Responsible for picking, packing, and shipping customer orders as may become 
  • necessary.
  • Responsible for picking, preparing and delivering kited jobs to production as may 
  • become necessary. 
  • Follow direction of coordinator and according to posted procedures and 
  • schedules.
  • Operate and maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company 
  • standards.
  • Responsible for moving and transporting skids, cartons, and drums of materials 
  • using hand or powered material-moving equipment. Lifting, pulling, and pushing 
  • material will be required often.
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • High School/GED or experience.
  • Power truck experience required
  • Ability to identify, solve problems, and multi-task under deadlines.
  • Work in a group environment and the ability to perform as a team player.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external 
  • customers.
  • Self-motivational, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude.
  • Proficient with the use of adjustable measuring devices, rules, scales, gages and 
  • fixtures
