Description
Grassland Dairy Products is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented ASRS Operator to support daily warehouse and production operations. This role is essential to ensuring accurate inventory management and the efficient operation of our Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS). The position operates on a 3rd shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, working 12-hour shifts on a 2/2/3 rotation. The ideal candidate plays a key role in maintaining product flow, inventory accuracy, and overall operational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow and comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety regulations, and quality assurance standards
  • Operate the ASRS to store, retrieve, and manage product movements
  • Monitor system queues, alarms, and performance; troubleshoot basic issues and escalate as needed
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory discrepancy reconciliation
  • Serve as backup for other warehouse functions, including pallet put-away into the ASRS using forklifts and loading outbound trucks safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate documentation, product labeling, and traceability standards
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow and system uptime
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Compensation:
Compensation for this position is commensurate with education, experience, and relevant qualifications.
  • Entry-level wage starting at $22/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential
  • Experienced wage starting at $24.00/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential
  • Highly technical operator wage starting at $30.00/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential

Education/Experience:
