We combine management consultancy with marketing agency expertise, all backed by marketing science, creative problem-solving, and technological know-how. Our integrated approach brings together teams, technology, data, strategies, processes, and plans to fuel sustainable revenue growth and build deeper, more resonant customer relationships. Who We're Looking For

Marketbridge is seeking a Director, Marketing Analytics to lead the strategy, design, and evolution of the data and analytics capabilities that power modern marketing programs.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, marketing technology, data operations, measurement, and business intelligence. The Director will help clients establish the connected data foundations required to activate audiences effectively, measure marketing performance accurately, and turn complex information into actionable business insight.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing marketing objectives with senior client stakeholders and working with technical teams to implement and configure tracking and tagging mechanisms, design the data architectures, build data integrations and workflows, and establish governance standards.

This leader will oversee a team responsible for transforming, integrating, automating, and analyzing marketing data across complex client ecosystems. They will partner closely with Marketing Technology, Marketing Operations, Demand Strategy, Media, and client teams to ensure data moves reliably from source systems through activation and measurement.

Success in this role requires a combination of data strategy, technical fluency, analytical thinking, client leadership, and people development, along with the ability to translate between technical requirements and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing data strategy and architecture across complex client environments, defining how data should be captured, integrated, transformed, governed, activated, and measured across marketing ecosystems.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Technology & Operations leadership to establish reusable methodologies, standards, and intellectual property for data architecture, integration, data quality, automation, measurement readiness, and analytics delivery.

  • Own the design and governance of scalable marketing data solutions spanning CRM, marketing automation platforms, media and ABM platforms, web analytics, data warehouses, BI environments, and other marketing and sales systems.

  • Translate business and marketing strategies into data requirements, helping clients determine the data, integration, segmentation, measurement, and reporting capabilities required to support their goals.

  • Oversee data integration and transformation frameworks, including ETL processes, APIs, cloud connectors, workflow automation, SQL- and Python-based solutions, and other methods used to move and prepare data across platforms.

  • Establish data quality and governance standards that improve the accuracy, consistency, accessibility, security, and reliability of marketing data and downstream reporting.

  • Advance marketing measurement and analytics capabilities by partnering with Strategy, Media, and Marketing Technology & Operations teams to establish reliable data foundations, KPI frameworks, reporting structures, and analytical approaches.

  • Connect data to business insight, helping client and internal teams understand how data infrastructure, measurement, and analytical outputs can improve marketing decisions and business outcomes.

  • Serve as a senior trusted advisor to clients, including Marketing Operations, Analytics, Technology, and Marketing leaders, on data architecture, operational data strategy, measurement readiness, governance, and future-state capabilities.

  • Lead complex discovery and solution-design engagements, facilitating stakeholder conversations, documenting requirements, identifying gaps, and developing future-state recommendations and implementation roadmaps.

  • Evaluate emerging data, analytics, automation, and AI capabilities, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, improve decision-making, and expand Marketbridge's client offerings.

  • Lead and develop Marketing Data & Analytics talent, providing coaching, technical guidance, performance management, career development, and opportunities for team members to expand their skills.

  • Guide team resourcing and delivery quality across multiple client engagements, ensuring work is appropriately staffed and delivered against established technical and analytical standards.

  • Support new business and organic growth, leading data and analytics discovery, solution design, technical scoping, estimation, proposal development, and client presentations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing data, marketing analytics, data engineering, marketing operations, marketing technology, business intelligence, or a closely related discipline, ideally within an agency, consulting, or complex client-service environment.

  • Demonstrated experience leading marketing data strategy and solution architecture across interconnected marketing and sales technology environments.

  • Strong understanding of the role data plays across the marketing lifecycle, including audience development, segmentation, personalization, campaign activation, measurement, attribution, reporting, and optimization.

  • Experience designing or overseeing ETL/ELT processes, data transformations, automated workflows, APIs, system integrations, and data quality frameworks.

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with Python and modern data transformation or automation approaches; the Director does not need to be the primary hands-on developer but must be technically fluent enough to guide solutions and challenge architectural decisions.

  • Deep expertise in web analytics and tag management strategy and implementation, including GA4, GTM, and Adobe Analytics, with experience defining measurement frameworks, tagging and data layer architectures, event taxonomies, implementation standards, QA processes, and governance across enterprise digital properties.

  • Experience working across platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, 6sense, Demandbase, cloud data warehouses, BI platforms, and data integration/automation tools.

  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, governance, identity, integration patterns, and marketing data quality.

  • Experience with marketing measurement and analytics, including the ability to connect campaign and customer data to KPIs, reporting, performance analysis, and business outcomes.

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong client-facing communication and executive presentation skills, with experience advising senior marketing, operations, analytics, and technology stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to lead ambiguous and complex engagements from discovery and requirements gathering through solution design, implementation, and optimization.

  • Experience managing and developing multidisciplinary data and analytics talent, including coaching individual contributors and emerging people leaders.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with strategy, technology, activation, analytics, media, creative, and account teams.

  • Experience identifying, scoping, and supporting new business and organic growth opportunities.

  • A strong sense of curiosity about emerging technologies, including how AI, automation, modern data platforms, and advanced analytics are changing marketing operations and decision-making.
