Job description

New Tech Global is currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant for a manufacturing client in Springtown, Texas.
Overview
  • The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and order fulfillment.
  • Receive, inspect, verify, store, pick, pack, and ship materials and finished products while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Utilize ERP/manufacturing systems to process material transactions, maintain inventory records, perform cycle counts, and support warehouse operations.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate domestic and international shipments as required.
  • Load, unload, stage, transport, and organize materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, shipping documentation, and warehouse transactions.
  • Work closely with production, shipping, and other departments to ensure timely movement of materials and products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse while following company policies and OSHA guidelines.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One to three years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using ERP or manufacturing systems to process inventory transactions and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, shipping documentation, and material handling.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately complete documentation and maintain records.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
