Job Overview:
Under the supervision of a manager or a team leader, Warehouse Picker 2 performs tasks such as scanning, receiving, sorting, picking, storing, taking inventory, and preparing merchandise for order replenishment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Warehouse Picker 2 job duties may include but are not limited to the following:
  • Move merchandise to designated areas for inspection and stocking
  • Ensuring accuracy of product selection
  • Scan items against order slips to ensure full order is filled with correct merchandise
  • Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxes
  • Utilization of OPEX machinery system
  • Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer's orders
  • Warehouse management system usage to make accurate inventory changes
  • Use of hand scanner and dual screens to enter data in a computer system

Additional Responsibilities:
  • As assigned by the Manager

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be able to Lift up to 50lbs independently
  • Extended periods of standing/walking (10 hours/day)
  • Attention to detail and ability to count
  • Must be able to locate and identify specific items
  • Must be able to use dual screen computer to enter data in system
