The Opportunity
The Warehouse Coordinator supports the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth handling of goods and maintaining high standards of service delivery. This position requires close coordination with the Warehouse Manager and team to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments and inventory.
Location: B&H Worldwide, Los Angeles
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Working hours: Sunday to Thursday: 1100hrs to 2000hrs
Key Role Accountabilities:
General Duties:
  • Monitor the receipt, booking in and dispatch of all Cargo/Goods and record data in accordance with working procedures.
  • Ensure all goods received are booked into the company within a timely manner and record data as necessary.
  • Ensuring freight is screened in accordance with TSA compliance and is handled correctly and located and is identified as "Known Cargo".
  • Load and off-load vehicles in a timely manner.
  • Assist with labelling and palletizing.
  • Be polite and respond respectfully at all times to customers and colleagues.
  • Respond to operational staff / customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure security obligations are met according to TSA regulations and compliance. This includes checking delivery driver IDs when receiving any freight and filling out the goods in check sheet, making sure that all warehouse doors are always locked and monitored, ready to challenge any unidentified persons in the warehouse immediately.
  • Deal with Inventory requirements, logging incoming and outgoing shipments that are stored in our warehouse.
  • Ensuring regular audits are carried out on the inventory held in the warehouse.
  • Provide customers with inventory shipments on request in a timely manner.
  • Keep warehouse tidy and organized.
  • Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant transport law and procedures and restrictions.
  • Liaise with Warehouse Manager / Supervisor to identify any changes in work instructions and/or processes where appropriate, thus providing a reliant handling of Cargo/Goods.
  • To undertake duties in accordance with defined processes and work instructions.
  • Inbox management for inventory receipt and despatch requests.
  • Creating AES for exports.
  • Booking jobs on Fed Ex and other transport systems.
  • Where appropriate, expanding knowledge to learn import/export/domestic operations.

Compliance / Health & Safety
  • Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment and warehouse.
  • Ensure your Company identity card is visible and on display at all times.
  • Respect and adhere to the standards as set out in the employee handbook and the HR Policy Manual relating to the job, attendance, time keeping and behaviour
  • Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant warehousing best practices, procedures and restrictions.
  • Make sure you understand and adhere to Company policies, current and new.

Your Experience:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and handling equipment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
  • Basic IT skills and the ability to use inventory systems.
  • Customer-focused with a friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Flexible and agile.
  • Attention to detail with good organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to follow procedures and work under supervision.
  • Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
