Job description

The Warehouse Associate supports the daily operations of the Mighty warehouse and assists with the overall flow of products and materials throughout the business. This position is responsible for helping maintain an accurate, organized, clean, and efficient warehouse while supporting deliveries and other operational needs as required. 

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, safety-conscious, and willing to help wherever needed. This position requires someone who works well as part of a team, takes pride in their work, and understands that accuracy and organization are essential to keeping the warehouse and business running smoothly. 

Warehouse Assistant Compensation and Benefits:     

Warehouse Assistant Competitive Salary: $20 per hour.  

Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): We prioritize work-life balance, offering industry-leading PTO. New full-time employees accrue 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the daily operations of the warehouse. 

  • Pull customer orders accurately and double-check orders before they are shipped or delivered. 

  • Receive and check in incoming freight, verifying products and quantities against packing slips. 

  • Put away incoming freight in the proper locations and maintain organized inventory. 

  • Stock and organize warehouse shelves and inventory locations. 

  • Perform regular bin counts to help maintain accurate inventory records. 

  • Prepare products and orders for customer delivery. 

  • Make occasional local deliveries as needed. 

  • Safely load and unload products and materials. 

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. 

  • Assist with product returns, damaged or short shipments, and other inventory-related activities. 

  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly. 

  • Assist other departments and team members as needed. 

  • Be willing to perform a variety of tasks necessary to keep the warehouse and business operating efficiently. 

  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating standards. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Previous warehouse, delivery, inventory, or automotive parts experience is preferred but not required. 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Organized and able to maintain an orderly work environment. 

  • Dependable and punctual. 

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic. 

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. 

  • Willingness to assist wherever needed and take on a variety of responsibilities. 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. 

  • Ability to regularly lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds. 

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday. 

  • Valid driver's license. 

  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical, as required for the position. 

  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and make local deliveries when needed.
