Location: Onsite โ€“ Waukesha, WI. 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Reports To: Director of Operations


Position Summary

ErgoStrap Inc., the exclusive U.S. Sales & Service provider for ErgoPack Deutschland GmbH, part of Lifco AB, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support our growing sales and operational activities.


ErgoStrap is seeking a motivated, hands-on Warehouse Assistant to oversee daily warehouse operations while developing the technical skills necessary to become our future Lead Service Technician. This entry-level position includes extensive on-the-job training in warehouse operations, inventory management, machine assembly, service, repair, troubleshooting, and customer support. No prior experience with strapping equipment is requiredโ€”we're looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.


Primary Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

ยท        Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments

ยท        Pick, pack, and ship customer orders and replacement parts

ยท        Maintain accurate inventory counts and warehouse organization

ยท        Perform cycle counts and inventory audits

ยท        Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse

ยท        Assist with machine staging prior to customer shipment


Equipment Preparation

ยท        Learn to configure new ErgoStrap systems and prepare for shipment with customer-specific options

ยท        Perform pre-delivery inspections

ยท        Prepare machines for demonstrations and trade shows


Hands-on Service & Technical Training

ยท        Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues

ยท        Repair and rebuild strapping tools

ยท        Perform preventative maintenance

ยท        Install software updates

ยท        Replace electrical and mechanical components

ยท        Troubleshoot customer issues by phone and email

ยท        Support Sales Representatives with service updates and requests

ยท        Prepare service quotations

ยท        Document repairs and service history


Qualifications

Required

ยท        High school diploma or equivalent

ยท        Strong mechanical aptitude

ยท        Excellent organizational skills

ยท        Positive attitude and willingness to learn

ยท        Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)

ยท        Valid driver's license

ยท        Strong communication skills
