This role shapes the organizational capabilities and competitive positioning required to deliver a frictionless, market-native experience for customers across borders. Responsible for defining the strategic framework, governing a multi-phase product roadmap, and aligning complex cross-functional and cross-market stakeholders, the position drives mass adoption of a single app while ensuring regulatory compliance, localization excellence, and platform scalability. The role champions emerging technologies — including unified identity and cross-border payment infrastructure — and sets the standard for product management excellence across global markets.
About the Team
This team is at the forefront of Walmart's international platform strategy, leading the growth of key international markets. The team's mandate spans prioritizing a winning roadmap for eCommerce growth across footprint markets with a long-term vision of serving customers in non-footprint markets globally. Working at the intersection of product strategy, technology, legal, and operations across multiple international markets, this group operates at the highest level of complexity within Walmart's digital organization. Team members drive enterprise-level decisions, partner with senior leadership across geographies, and are accountable for outcomes that directly expand Walmart's global customer base and competitive positioning against the world's leading digital commerce platforms. What you'll do...What You'll Do...
  • Define and own the multi-phase product strategy for the expansion of a unified experience across our footprint markets, from zero to one.
  • Lead cross-market product roadmap development, sequencing investments across unified identity, cross-border commerce, localization, payments compliance, and discovery — aligned to enterprise business objectives.
  • Drive customer understanding across diverse international segments — new market entrants, existing single-market customers, and dual-account holders — translating complex, multi-jurisdictional journeys into clear product requirements and prioritization frameworks.
  • Govern product lifecycle across multiple concurrent tracks ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery across market launches.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across Walmart US, Walmart International, Legal, Engineering, and Operations with structured, fact-based narratives that align on complex cross-market decisions.
  • Establish go-to-market strategies for each market expansion phase, including adoption mechanisms, customer migration playbooks, and cross-market feature flag governance.
  • Champion responsible integration of emerging technologies and platform capabilities — including agentic commerce, unified global identity, and cross-border payment infrastructure — while managing regulatory and compliance risk per market.
  • Mentor and advance product management talent across the organization, elevating standards for international and multi-market product development.
What You'll Bring...
  • Extensive experience in digital product management with a proven track record of leading large-scale, multi-market or international platform products from strategy through scaled launch.
  • Expertise in developing and governing complex product roadmaps spanning multiple business lines, geographies, and regulatory environments.
  • Deep understanding of cross-border commerce, localization, identity and authentication systems, and market-specific compliance requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to align senior leadership and cross-functional teams across geographies on high-stakes product decisions.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive mass adoption, including customer migration planning and adoption nudge frameworks.
  • Proficiency in integrating customer insights, competitive analysis, and business strategy to define product vision in ambiguous, high-complexity environments.
  • Skilled in establishing governance frameworks, feature flag strategies, and product lifecycle processes that ensure quality, compliance, and market-appropriate experiences at scale.
  • Experience working with engineering, legal, and operations partners across multiple international markets to deliver compliant, high-quality digital experiences.
