Position overview:

The position is responsible for:

  • Measure, Cut, Pack and Ship orders accurately, efficiently, and according to customer requirements.
  • Perform all activities in the Infor system to maintain inventory accurately.
  • Properly inspect printed and woven fabrics and recognize quality issues.
  • Meet or exceed any productivity standards. Participate in all provided training.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
  • Install, level, and align components, such as gears, chains, guides, dies, cutters, and/or needles to set up machinery for operation.
  • Inspect machinery to determine whether repairs are needed.
  • Organized and can prioritize cutting according to the shipping schedule.
  • Meet or exceed published cuts/hour targets.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of warehouse or manufacturing experience required.
  • Highschool diploma or GED required.
  • Strong math skills (addition/subtraction/dividing/fractions).
  • Able to distinguish colors and patterns.
  • Able to lift up to 65 lbs. Able to push and pull rolling carts and pallet jacks.
  • Able to stand/walk up to 8 to 12 hours per day.
  • Must be able to use MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of the usage of various fabric cutting tools, machinery and methods.
  • Familiar with inventory and warehouse management concepts and systems.
  • Prior experience in textiles and wallcoverings preferred.
  • Prior experience pick/pack/ship operations preferred.

Personal traits:

  • Must be able to work flexibly within the distribution center’s hours, currently between 7am and 6pm eastern.
  • Team player with can-do attitude.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Customer/Client Focus - Passionate about helping customers.
  • Problem solving/analysis.
