Safety Manager


As a Safety Manager in Freemont, CA, you’ll lead the charge in building a culture where safety is more than a priority — it’s a core value. You’ll ensure best practices are implemented, compliance standards are met, and every team member goes home safe each day.

HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.

  • Requirements -

    • Knowledge of the BAAQMD - Bay Area Air Quality Management District
    • Cal Regulations
    • Hazwoper 40 Hour
    • Respirator Fit Test
    • Storm Water Experience
    • Computer Saavy
    • Soft Skills (Site needs improved safety culture)

  • Responsibilities:

    • Conduct training (BBP, HF Acid, HAZCOM, OSHA)
    • Conduct safety inspections and investigations
    • Safe Work Permitting (LOTO, WAH, etc.)
    • Supporting Air Permitting Process
    • Addressing actions in the sites compliance calendar
    • Chemical safety management

    Preferred:
