What are Wah jobs?

The term 'Wah' is often an abbreviation for 'Work at Home' jobs, referring to employment opportunities that allow individuals to perform their duties remotely from their own residence. These positions can span a wide range of industries, including customer service, data entry, writing, IT, and more. Work at home jobs offer flexibility and convenience, making them attractive to people seeking better work-life balance or those unable to commute. It's important to research potential employers or job offers carefully, as the remote work sector can also attract scams. Reliable job boards and company websites are good places to find legitimate Wah opportunities.

Job description

Seeking Healthcare Professionals for the 2026 summer

Camp Wah-Nee is a private, premier, beautiful co-ed sleep away camp located in the foothills of the Berkshires in northwestern Connecticut (Torrington). The camp sits in a country setting overlooking our 75 acre lake.
Our health care team is comprised of 5 nurses. We will gladly consider new grads that have passed the boards. Applicants with camp age children (8-16 years old) are welcome to be full time campers.
We run one session - all campers and staff reside at camp for the 7 weeks. You have a private room, with air conditioning and bathroom. We provide all dining services and do your laundry as well.

Although professional, we are informal. We work in shorts and t-shirts in a warm, friendly atmosphere.  Work days vary significantly. There may be days when the caseload is very light and you are able to spend hours relaxing. There may be others when the caseload is busy on your shift. Meds are distributed each day to campers who require them.
Our camp season runs June 25 to August 12.  ORIENTATION begins June 17
We are down to earth camp people who are committed to excellence. Great summer opportunity…..you’ll love it!
