We are seeking an experienced Senior Home Networking Test Engineer to join us! In our team, you can always stay at the forefront of technology, have access to and learn about the latest generation of networking technologies worldwide. Together with other outstanding engineers in the team, you will create reliable, stable, and high-speed network access products for users, provide user-friendly and convenient smart home solutions, and bring convenience to the lives of millions of users worldwide!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the quality assurance efforts for home networking products such as Wi-Fi routers, Mesh Wi-Fi, network adapters, and USB accessories.
  • Responsible for executing system-level test cases that require extensive experience and sound judgment.
  • Simulate media evaluations to ensure that the test results meet expectations.
  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product specifications and industry standards.
  • Explore user scenarios and establish local testing standards that align with user perception.
  • Lead test strategy discussions, mentor junior engineers, and drive process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to troubleshoot and debug issues.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of QA/testing experience with networking products, with a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and quality assurance practices. Proven experience independently leading testing activities for NPI (New Product Introduction) projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi/WLAN technologies, including IEEE 802.11 protocols, major Wi-Fi generations and key features (e.g., Wi-Fi 5/6/6E/7), Wi-Fi testing methodologies, and end-to-end Wi-Fi test coverage. Hands-on Wi-Fi product testing experience is required.
  • Solid understanding of common networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, and IPTV.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both wireless and wired networking issues, with the ability to analyze packet captures, logs, and test data to identify root causes.
  • Proficiency with network testing and analysis tools such as iPerf/iPerf3, Wireshark, and IxChariot.
  • Strong test analysis and test design capabilities, with the ability to independently analyze complex features, identify risks, develop test strategies, and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to independently drive complex technical issues from identification through resolution.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with R&D, Product Management, Hardware, chipset vendors, and other cross-functional teams.

Additional Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on development or testing experience with Wi-Fi routers, Mesh Wi-Fi systems, gateways, or other consumer/home networking products.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi Alliance certification and/or wireless regulatory and compliance testing.
  • Strong understanding of user experience and real-world usage scenarios, with close attention to product quality and details and the ability to identify issues from an end-user perspective.
  • Proven experience designing and building automated testing frameworks or test systems, including test architecture, tool development, and automation deployment.
  • Experience developing Python-based test automation for devices, networking products, or system-level testing.
