Job description

Overview
VTG is seeking a Solutions Architect to support our Virginia Beach location.
What will you do?
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Design and architect end-to-end solutions for Defense and Intelligence community proposals, ensuring they meet the specifications outlined in RFPs.
  • Lead the development of technical proposals, including solution design, implementation approach, and cost estimation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the Business Development team throughout the capture and proposal process.
  • Conduct assessments of existing systems and technologies to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology, industry best practices, and emerging trends relevant to defense and intelligence domains.
  • Work closely with clients and stakeholders to address their technical challenges and present the benefits of our proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with the operations and management team to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior members of the business development and innovation teams, fostering their professional growth and development.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Extensive experience (15+ years) in the Defense and Intelligence community, with a focus on business and proposal development.
  • Proven expertise in areas such as Cloud migration, IT, Systems Engineering and Integration, and software development.
  • Strong understanding of government RFP processes and experience in developing technical proposals for Defense and Intelligence contracts.
  • Excellent knowledge of intelligence analysis methodologies, data integration, and security requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting scalable and reliable solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, with a solid understanding of software development principles.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Track record of Winning / High Scoring Technical Proposal Response.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
