About the Role:
We are seeking 4 skilled Chuukese interpreters to provide high-quality medical interpretation services via Video Remote (VRI) and Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI). This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic language services team, delivering accurate and culturally sensitive communication in healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide interpretation for Marshallese-speaking clients in medical settings using both VRI and OPI modalities.
  • Ensure accurate, professional, and confidential communication between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Follow standard protocols for medical interpretation and documentation.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and cultural sensitivity.

Requirements:
  • Fluency in Chuukese (speaking and comprehension).
  • Proven medical interpretation experience.
  • Ability to work in both VRI and OPI formats (candidates providing only OPI will not be considered).
  • Reliable internet connection and suitable technology for remote interpretation.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in healthcare or clinical environments.
  • Certification in medical interpretation (advantageous but not required).
