What You’ll Do

The Vice President (VP) Marketing (Corporate) oversees the Marketing & Content Teams ensuring the overarching marketing strategy is adhered to in all tactical decisions, oversees the identity of the brand, ensuring it is exemplary in all marketing and content initiatives, and oversees all internal and external platforms, including web, print, messaging, and brand positioning. The VP Marketing steers marketing collateral, digital content, web properties, social, and overall branding, works collaboratively with the Public Relations department, and provides support for clinical outreach, admissions, talent acquisition, and operations. This position is charged with the creation, adaptation, and application of dynamic, cohesive, cross-platform strategy and tactics. The VP Marketing crafts tactical plans, ensuring objectives are on brand and in line with the integrated strategy and serves as the gatekeeper regarding all marketing and content messaging, branding, best practices, and overarching marketing strategy for the organization in collaboration with and direction from Executive Leadership This position provides strategic direction, impeccable tactical, editorial, and creative competence, strong leadership aptitude, and top-notch team management to effectively create, utilize, and leverage all marketing and content resources and initiatives to serve and surpass the business needs across all campaigns and platforms.

Key Performance Responsibilities:
  • Meet regularly with the CEO to discuss department performance, emphasis on ROI for Paid Search investments, including cases and admissions generated from collective efforts.
  • Access to join high level Monthly Operating Reviews for areas of interest.
  • Manage the integration of development of various brands and their marketing director/marketing lead – this includes supervision over entire suite of marketing services.
  • Responsibility for paid search and digital development vendors including performance and performance management.
  • Responsible for quarterly board meeting presentation buildout in conjunction with internal department colleagues and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership on the planning and implementation of annual marketing and content strategies and brand development initiatives to drive leads, generate conversions, and improve key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Strategize, produce, manage, and synchronize marketing and content initiatives for all internal and external outlets, enact agility in messaging and deepening the brand experience in person and online ensuring owned, earned, and paid efforts deliver in accordance with projected growth.
  • Oversee Marketing Leadership Team, Content and Social Media team members, Graphic Designers, Writers, Editors, Marketing Assistants, Content Coordinators, Analysts, Cross-Departmental Admissions Team Call-Audits, and all freelance or vendor contributors, and any additional team members as needed to drive efficiencies and productivity in team workflow and deliverables.
  • Apply SEO best practices for optimum content production and placement, campaign management, ensuring owned and earned channels evolve steadily to drive ROI.
  • Generate a fluid content calendar and editorial plan while coordinating with all departments and agencies, both internal and external, to map content and allow for timely spontaneity in content production.
  • Steer creative direction for all channels, including web pages, web content, articles, ghostwritten pieces, PR synergies, and any other projects needed for internal and external properties.
  • Assign articles, multimedia projects, videographers, and photographers; manage, write, copyedit, and oversee content production, applying and steering creative direction of brand messaging, ensuring content is inspirational, educational, influential, compelling, and engag ing.
  • Maintain guidelines and best practices for internal competencies and adherence to organizational policy, ensuring internal governance.
  • Ensure Marketing and Content Team executes on video production, ensuring content is on brand through ideation, script notes, production.
  • Drive the implementation of partnerships and brand experiences, collaborating with stakeholders to develop and maintain mutually beneficial brand affiliations; uphold successful brand presentation; and leverage event content for digital media outlets and deepen peer and audience relationships.
  • Generate weekly direct-to-consumer email marketing including concept ideation, design approval and direction, and analysis to hit and exceed KPIs.
  • Direct, approve, and oversee all business-to-business advertising and manage the support and marketing of clinical outreach team through email marketing and online systems, collateral generation, ad placement and ad direction, and email marketing to key referent demographics.
  • Manage the events department and cost center and a monthly budget for paid ads; both programmatic advertising and paid social.
  • Manage and oversee the monthly SEM strategy.
  • With guidance and direction of Executive Leadership, manage external marketing vendor; developing and exceeding KPIs for SEM, UX/web design and data and systems, and content development.
What Makes You a Great FitEducation, Experience, License Requirements:
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Master’s preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of marketing experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of the marketing experience must include leading a multifaceted marketing team required.
OR,
  • Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of marketing experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of the marketing experience must include leading a multifaceted marketing team required.
ADDITIONALLY:
  • Proven leadership in Marketing and Content fields, with a firm command of branding, marketing strategy, content strategy, team mobilization, PR strategy, SEO best practices, communications messaging, content creation, digital know-how, publishing, and content proliferation.

  • Proven skills in communication and team cohesion to energize and activate creativity and initiative and proven leadership skills that empower, construct, and are supportive.
  • Proven track record of excellent project management capabilities with an innovative mindset.
