Position Summary

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading AcreEdgeโ€™s commercial strategy. This role will also drive profitable sales growth through strategic partnerships and business development. The VP of Sales is responsible for developing and coaching the Territory Business Manager team while also managing key accounts and relationships that create opportunities to expand AcreEdgeโ€™s market presence.

As both a sales leader and individual contributor, the Vice President of Sales serves as the face of AcreEdge with strategic customers, distributors, and industry partners while building a high-performing sales organization focused on technical expertise, consultative selling, and exceptional customer service.

This position reports directly to the Vice President of Agronomy.

ยท Develop and execute AcreEdgeโ€™s annual sales strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.

ยท Establish annual sales goals, budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.

ยท Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop Territory Business Managers.

ยท Foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, collaboration, and customer success.

Strategic Sales & Business Development

ยท Identify and pursue new business opportunities that support long-term company growth.

ยท Lead negotiations for strategic partnerships and significant commercial opportunities.

Requirements:

Qualifications

Education

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Plant Science, or a related field required.

MBA or Masterโ€™s degree preferred.


Experience

ยท Must have established commercial network within the agricultural industry.

ยท 5+ years of sales leadership experience with responsibility for coaching and developing sales teams.

ยท Demonstrated success managing strategic customer relationships and driving profitable revenue growth.

ยท Experience working with agricultural retailers, distributors, field sales agronomists, and growers.

ยท Strong understanding of crop production systems, plant nutrition, biologicals, and agronomic practices.
