Job description

Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, this position provides administrative support for the office, ongoing initiatives, and special projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the talent acquisition and recruitment efforts, including posting positions, reviewing candidates, and navigating the hiring process.
  • Review processes and procedures, benchmark best practices, and recommend practical changes to improve the employee experience.
  • Assist with updating personnel files.
  • Assist with ongoing initiatives and special projects, as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.
  • Must be a currently enrolled, degree-seeking student at Ivy Tech Community College to be eligible for this position.
  • Must maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must work well in a team environment and exercise sound problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess the ability to learn and use Microsoft Office Suite.
