Reporting to senior finance leadership, this position offers a blend of financial reporting, forecasting, business analysis, and process enhancement responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering timely financial information, supporting planning initiatives, improving reporting capabilities, and providing insight that assists leadership with strategic decision making. Responsibilities:

The Corporate Reporting & FP&A Specialist professional is responsible to:

• Lead the preparation and review of periodic financial reporting packages and ensure information is delivered accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain adherence to applicable accounting frameworks and corporate reporting guidelines through ongoing technical review and research.
• Support the consolidation and submission of financial information to corporate reporting platforms and ensure key reporting timelines are achieved.
• Participate in the budgeting cycle and provide support for forecasts and annual operating plans.
• Assist with period-end activities and provide oversight of account reconciliations and financial integrity.
• Analyze operating results and provide meaningful explanations around trends, key drivers, and business performance.
• Develop reporting packages and financial summaries for management to support informed business decisions.
• Collaborate with internal and external audit teams and contribute to maintaining a strong control environment.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, leverage technology, and enhance the efficiency of finance operations.
• Support initiatives involving financial systems, reporting tools, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements:

• Possess a Canadian accounting designation, CPA (CA, CGA, CMA).
• 7+ years of progressive accounting, reporting, or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Canadian accounting standards.
• Advanced analytical capabilities with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet functionality to support reporting and analysis.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet multiple deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiencies.
