The VP of Quality also oversees the department of Infection Prevention and directs the activities of surveillance of nosocomial infections, monitoring trends; initiating problem solving, analyzing outcomes, and compiling statistics.

Qualifications: Texas State RN license or compact license required. 

  • Advanced specialty certification needs to be obtained within 90 days of hire date;
  • BSN required; Master’s degree required. MSN preferred.
  • 5 years clinical experience required;
  • 3-4 years quality/performance.
  • Experience in healthcare quality or process improvement preferred.
  • Experience with Risk Management
