Job description

You will own annual planning and end-to-end campaign orchestration – from positioning and messaging through launch, optimization, and scorecard reporting – while operating within a strong control environment. You will also translate performance data and customer insights into clear recommendations and executive-ready narratives that inform priorities, improve the acquisition funnel, and accelerate Everyday 401(k) growth.

As a Vice President, Marketing Strategy Lead for Everyday 401(k) you will lead customer-centric marketing strategy and go-to-market initiatives designed to drive awareness, consideration, enrollment, and ongoing engagement for solo and group Everyday 401(k) offers among small business owners. In this role, you will partner closely with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Business Banking Product, Digital, Field/Business Relationship Manager (BRM) teams, Analytics, and Legal/Compliance to develop and deliver an insights-driven, multi-channel marketing strategy across email, owned digital experiences, paid “always on” media, and social.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build and execute the annual Everyday 401(k) marketing plan for Business Banking, partnering with key stakeholders to define objectives, target segments (e.g., solopreneurs, employer groups), channel mix, and quarterly priorities.
  • Create a steady marketing drumbeat that drives sustained awareness and enrollment for Everyday 401(k) within Business Banking, using a mix of always-on and campaign-based motions.
  • Partner with Product and Sales leadership to translate the Everyday 401(k) roadmap into actionable go-to-market plans, including positioning, messaging, audience strategy, and channel selection aligned to Business Banking priorities.
  • Own email marketing strategy and execution, including campaign calendar, segmentation, lifecycle/trigger opportunities, creative requirements, testing strategy, and performance optimization.
  • Own and optimize the Everyday 401(k) digital property experience (e.g., Storefront 2.0) for Business Banking journeys, ensuring the path from discovery to education to application is clear, compliant, and conversion-focused.
  • Manage disclosures and maintain a strong control environment, ensuring marketing materials, claims, and journeys follow required legal, risk, and compliance review/approval processes.
  • Own performance scorecards and reporting, including monthly scorecards, ongoing KPI monitoring, and clear readouts of insights and actions to senior stakeholders.
  • Support other high-impact initiatives, such as Wealth Management testing expansion or related cross-line-of-business experiments, based on evolving Business Banking priorities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, own outcomes, and drive measurable results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong experience developing and delivering multi-channel marketing strategies (e.g., email, owned digital, paid media, social) from planning through execution and optimization.
  • Proven ability to translate business goals and product roadmaps into clear go-to-market plans (positioning, messaging, audience strategy, and channel mix).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including defining success metrics, partnering on measurement, and using performance insights to improve strategy and execution.
  • Excellent executive communication and storytelling skills, including building presentations that drive alignment and decisions.
  • Strong program/project management skills, including managing timelines, dependencies, creative workflows, and approvals across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience operating within a rigorous controls environment, ensuring marketing activity meets legal, risk, and compliance standards (including disclosure management).
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience marketing to small business customers and/or within Business Banking (acquisition, engagement, field enablement, digital journeys).
  • Experience marketing regulated financial products (retirement, investing, benefits, or adjacent solutions), including comfort navigating disclosures and claim substantiation.
  • Strong testing and optimization capability (offer testing, funnel conversion testing, landing page optimization, UX research partnership).
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across Product, Analytics, Legal/Compliance, Operations, Creative, channel execution, and BRM/field teams.
  • Builder mindset – resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to establish repeatable operating rhythms (campaign calendars, governance, reporting).
