Job description

We are representing a leading manufacturer of steel-related products searching for a Vice President of Engineering in the Greater Houston region of TX.

Our client offers a very competitive salary and benefits package including eligibility for an annual bonus.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science or Electrical, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Masters degree in Engineering or Masters in Business (MBA) is a plus.
  • 8-30 years' experience in Engineering and Manufacturing leadership roles, preferably in a steel tubing manufacturing environment or steel/metals industry.
  • Interface experience with maintenance/manufacturing plant managers, engineering department, production groups.
  • Negotiation skills and partnering with vendors, suppliers, shippers and customers.
