Job description

Come join us
There's one in every group-the person who sees what's possible and goes after it. If you are a consultative deal hunter who gets energized by opening doors, shaping bold Microsoft-powered solutions, and closing transformational work, you'll thrive at Avanade.
We're hiring in Canada within our sales organization. You'll be a player-coach-winning business directly while elevating the team around you-backed by one of the most deeply Microsoft-aligned consultancies in the market. Together, we do what matters.
Key Responsibilities

  • Hunt, shape, and win opportunities-owning the end-to-end sales cycle from first outreach through negotiation and close, with VP/C-level buyers.

  • Build pipeline and deliver revenue through multiple motions: new logo acquisition and land & expand growth across your assigned territory and accounts.

  • Lead co-sell motions with Microsoft and collaborate with channel partners-aligning plans, shaping pursuits, and winning together.

  • Lead complex pursuits and orchestrate the team to deliver outcome-led proposals-progressing opportunities through statements of work, commercial approvals, and contracting.

  • Earn executive trust-map stakeholders, open doors, create referrals, and keep Avanade positioned as a long-term partner.

  • Grow business across priority sectors: Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Retail & Consumer Goods, plus Resources (Energy, Oil & Gas), Communications, Media & Technology (CMT), and Products (including Manufacturing).

.

Skills and experiences

  • Proven success in net-new business development within technology services and/or consulting, including owning deals from creation to close.

  • Strong prospecting discipline and creative pursuit strategy-able to build pipeline and progress multi-stakeholder buying cycles.

  • Consultative, value-based selling skills-discovery, storytelling, business case development, and negotiation for complex deals.

  • Experience with Microsoft solution selling and partner ecosystems (co-sell and/or channel), ideally in a fast-paced growth environment.

  • High ownership and bias for action-able to mobilize teams, remove obstacles, and coach others through the pursuit lifecycle.

  • Executive presence and communication-credible with client leaders and able to connect strategy to technology outcomes.

About you

  • You're a deal hunter and deal maker-curious, resilient, and outcome-obsessed.

  • You run pursuits like a GM-prioritizing, aligning stakeholders, and driving a clear path to the win.

  • You bring energy and integrity to every pursuit-and you love winning as a team.

Enjoy your career

  • Do meaningful work with people who are as passionate about customers as they are about technology.

  • Grow with the power of Avanade + Microsoft-surrounded by experts who help you sharpen your craft.

  • Build a career with momentum-access opportunities across industries, solutions, and go-to-market paths.

Compensation at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
