The Vice President, Finance will play a critical leadership role in shaping and executing the financial strategy for Paramount Games. This position will report directly to the EVP/CFO of Paramount Animation, Gaming, and Sports, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Head of Games. The VP will play a key role in shaping and executing the Paramount Games financial strategy. They will oversee all financial activities for the division, serving as a strategic partner to senior leadership and a key liaison with corporate and studio segment finance teams.
OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with divisional and company-wide growth objectives.
• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Oversee greenlight processes for new game development, game acquisitions, and other strategic investments.
• Provide clear, actionable financial analysis and insights to division senior management and the CFO.
• Ensure accurate, timely monthly financial reporting in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project cost controls in partnership with team leads, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and financial policies.
• Act as the primary point of contact with corporate finance and studio segment finance teams.
• Partner closely with all areas of the business, including Marketing, Management, Business Development, Development, and Centralized Controllership.
• Deliver ongoing financial guidance and decision support to drive operational and strategic outcomes.
• Lead the division's participation in the company-wide ERP implementation, with a focus on FP&A modules.
• Leverage robust knowledge of financial systems, preferably Oracle, to enhance reporting, forecasting, and financial controls.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive Finance/FP&A experience.
• Extensive gaming industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
• Advanced modeling and Excel skills.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with other senior stakeholders and strategic foresight to anticipate their analytical needs.
• Experience with translating complex data and delivering compelling financial narratives to diverse executive audiences.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex negotiations and build effective relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
• Exceptional management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to operate successfully at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and creative environment.
• Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities and attention to detail.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $205,500.00 - 250,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
