The VP, Account Director leads and ensures the agency is delivering on necessary expectations. Manage the service expectations of the client through open and honest discussions between agency and client management. Builds and maintains a solid client relationship based on mutual trust and respect through the creation of a customized team. Partners with Creative, Strategy and Operations Leads to deliver work that is innovative, on strategy and within budget and timing parameters. In This Role, You Will: โข Manage the day-to-day senior clients โข Ensure successful development and completion of the client engagement โขMaintain a superior relationship with all departments in the agency and understand the strategic goals of the account and contribute to their communication to the agency team โข Ensure the agency is giving its highest quality, meets client objectives and leads the category โข Be responsible for profitable growth by adding new divisions or assignments โข Manage and mentor junior level team members โข Build client business - Identifies short term and long-term opportunities, business building as well as learning โข Develop in collaboration with finance and department heads yearly SOW โข Report on account performance โข Identify best and new practices, which drive efficiency and effectiveness of the agency to deliver against the clientโs objectives โข Develop new initiatives through thorough understanding of the clientโs content area โข Aggressively pursue new ways to contribute to overall agency and client revenue and profitability โข Work closely with project management for the successful execution of projects What We Are Looking For: โข 12+ years of Agency experience โข Minimum 5+ years of management experience โข Pharmaceutical HCP/DTC experience a must โข Excellent communication skills, both written and oral โข Highly organized and creative problem-solving skills, and detail oriented โข Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal department relationships โข Ability to interact with, and manage clients with decision making responsibility โข Experience with budgets and finance savvy โข Ability to translate business and marketing requirements into viable solutions โข Minimum of a bachelorโs degree or equivalent business experience preferred This role will be based in New York City. The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employeeโs/applicantโs background, pertinent experience, and qualifications$150,000 - $200,000 *Omnicomโs policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
