Project Manager, Lead
Mahwah,NJ (on-site)
The Product Manager, Leads is responsible for owning the product strategy and roadmap for Volvo Cars' lead generation capabilities across all US digital touchpoints. This role sits at the intersection of digital product management, data, and commercial performance - defining, building, and optimizing the features and experiences that drive high-quality leads through the funnel and into the hands of retailers.
This Manager will work closely with engineering, analytics, marketing, and retailer teams to ensure that every stage of the lead funnel - from initial engagement to conversion - is instrumented, optimized, and continuously improved through a product-led approach.
What you'll do
• Own the product roadmap for lead generation and full-funnel conversion features across Volvo Cars US digital properties including volvo cars.com, the Volvo Cars App, and connected digital touchpoints
• Define and manage product requirements for lead capture, lead routing, CRM integration, and conversion optimization features
• Establish and maintain full-funnel conversion tracking frameworks, ensuring visibility into lead performance from digital touchpoint through to retailer handoff
• Partner with analytics and data teams to define KPIs, build dashboards, and generate insights that drive product decisions
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver lead product features on time and to specification
• Work with retailer and regional teams to understand conversion pain points and translate them into product improvements
• Identify and evaluate emerging tools and technologies - including AI-driven lead optimization platforms - that can improve conversion performance
• Monitor competitive landscape and best practices in automotive digital lead generation to inform roadmap prioritization
• Communicate lead product performance and roadmap progress to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of product management experience with demonstrable focus on lead generation, conversion optimization, or digital commerce
• Strong understanding of lead funnel mechanics, CRM systems, and digital conversion tracking
• Experience defining product requirements and working with engineering teams in Agile environments
• Proficiency in web analytics and conversion tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or equivalents)
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate performance data into actionable product decisions
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting to cross-functional and senior stakeholders
• Comfortable working across multiple teams and channels simultaneously
