VFS is committed to providing competitive financial services for Volvo Group dealers, and through their dealerships to customers, for their acquisition and use of Volvo Group products. This collaborative approach brings to life the concept of one-stop shopping for customers. During the customer transaction lifecycle, this collaboration enables the Group to offer additional products and services after the customer's purchase, which further builds our relationship with the customer and increases Volvo Group sales. And when times are tough, customers and dealers can trust that VFS and the Volvo Group remain dedicated to supporting their business. 

Our sales team members represent all the great products, programs, and service options we offer to the dealership sales force and customers.  The Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) is responsible for driving incremental dealer flow volume, finance penetration, and dealer relationships through the Volvo Construction Equipment (VCE) distribution network through the direct sales solicitation of targeted dealers. The ISS is accountable for closing sales transactions, developing relationships with Finance & Insurance Managers, updating OEM pipeline activity, and supporting our field team. This position reports to the Manager of Inside Sales for the Construction Equipment Financial Services sales channel.

Core Responsibilities
   Funding and Documentation Management: Review documentation packages for funding accuracy and completeness. Prepare and send customer documents while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
   Pricing and Deal Structuring: Complete final pricing, register subsidies, and prepare loan and lease quotes.
   Sales Support & Customer Service: Respond to inbound sales requests and actively manage dealer and customer relationships.
   Credit and Risk Assessment: Submit deals into credit review, conduct basic credit assessments, and evaluate risks related to subleasing and documentation.
   Pipeline and Workflow Management: Maintain active oversight of pipeline status and turnaround times (TAT) using CRM tools.
   Insurance and Compliance: Ensure familiarity with insurance requirements and the VFS EPP product.
   Dealer & OEM Relationship Management: Serve as a liaison with OEM partners and manage regional and mid-tier dealer relationships.
   District Finance Manager Coverage: Temporarily step in as a District Finance Manager when needed.

Who are you?

Education and Experience
   BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar preferred.
   Minimum 1-2 years of experience in selling financial products, managing a credit portfolio, direct sales, or sales management experience preferred, captive equipment finance experience a plus.
   Strong understanding of credit and/or operational aspects of the financial services industry and dealership environment preferred.
   Intermediate level with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
   Strong acumen for system usage, learning, and understanding.
   Understands Salesforce.com, and SuperTrump or similar tools.
   Experience problem-solving and customer service mindset in a financial products environment.
   Team-oriented and is independent in nature with strong business judgment, attention to detail, and flexibility.


Travel Requirements
This position requires occasional domestic travel.

For this position, the base pay is set at $64,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
