Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Project Manager III in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Saalex Corp., is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services. Founded in 1999 by Travis Mack, Saalex Solutions is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned and Operated business with prime and subcontract expertise serving the Navy, Army, Air Force, NASA, corporate clients, and local governments. Position Type: Contingent on Contract Award.

Salary: $100k-$170k (depending on experience)

The Project Manager III manages project execution, ensuring delivery of IT, cybersecurity, and engineering efforts aligned with cost, schedule, and technical requirements. 

Essential Functions:

  • Lead project execution ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and technical objectives. 
  • Manage risks, issues, and mitigation strategies. 
  • Oversee project reporting, PMRs, and deliverables. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, cybersecurity, and engineering. 
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and DoD requirements. 
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to project teams. 
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Required:

  • 8-12 years of experience in program/project management or related field. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Experience managing or supporting complex IT or engineering programs/projects. 
  • Knowledge of project management principles (cost, schedule, risk). 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, DAWIA PM). 

Desired:

  • Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs. 
  • Familiarity with EVM and program reporting. 
  • Experience with PM tools (MS Project, Excel, Power BI).

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments.

Security Clearance:

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
